Terms of Use

The plain terms for using this website.

By using innovatechestermere.ca, you agree to these terms. Last updated November 7, 2026.

Who we are

Innovate Chestermere is a community initiative in Chestermere, Alberta, in the process of registering as a non-profit society. Until registration is complete, these terms are offered by its founding team. We are not a government body, and we do not speak for the City of Chestermere or any other organization.

General information only

Articles, the support guide, Founders Night talks and the website assistant offer general information to help you get started. None of it is legal, tax, financial or immigration advice for your situation. Please confirm anything important with the official source or a qualified professional before you act on it.

The website assistant

  • The assistant is an AI service. Its answers can be incomplete or wrong, and a person can always follow up.
  • Please do not share sensitive personal, financial or health information in the chat.
  • Attempts to misuse the assistant, for example to obtain its instructions, keys or code, are declined and recorded as described in our Privacy policy.

Sign-ups, RSVPs and calls

Signing up, reserving a seat at Founders Night and booking an introduction call are free. Event dates, venues and programs may change, and we will tell you by email if something you registered for changes.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

  • submit false information, or sign up or book on behalf of someone without their permission;
  • send spam, automated submissions or bulk requests through our forms or assistant;
  • attempt to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems;
  • use the website to harass anyone, or in any way that breaks the law.

Our Code of Conduct also applies to our events and online spaces. We may refuse or remove access for anyone who does not follow these terms.

Links to other services

Some features use other services, such as the community survey form and our booking calendar, and we link to external sites. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content.

To the extent the law allows, Innovate Chestermere is not responsible for losses that come from relying on general information on this website. These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and of Canada.

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Questions are welcome at hello@innovatechestermere.ca.
